Three teams, not two

Every table hockey game ships with two teams. After a few weeks the same two sides get boring, and most people end up buying a third set anyway. This kit includes it from the start, so there are three teams in the box and three different match-ups on day one.

Who prepares it

Every kit is opened, checked and prepped by hand by Kārlis Balodis — a competitive table hockey player and a coach — before it is packed. If something isn't right when it arrives, you are writing to the person who packed it.

Classic or NHL?

The game itself is identical — same table, same speed, same rules. The Classic kit has the traditional national teams and two team sets. This one has the NHL livery and three. If the person you are buying for follows the NHL, this is the one they will want on the shelf.

Table Hockey Global is run by Kārlis Balodis — a competitive table hockey player, a coach, and the person who opens, checks and packs every order that leaves here. Nothing goes out of this shop that he has not had his hands on. If something is wrong when your parcel arrives, you are writing to him, not to a form.

What is the difference between the Classic kit and this one?

The game is identical — same table size, same speed, same rules, same holders, rule book, timer and video. Two things differ. This one is the official STIGA NHL edition, so the players wear NHL team livery rather than the traditional national kits. And it comes with three team sets instead of two, so you have three different match-ups from day one rather than the same two sides every time.
Is this an officially licensed NHL game?

Yes. It is STIGA's own officially licensed NHL table hockey game, bought through the normal trade channel and then opened, checked and prepped by us before it is sent on to you. We are not printing stickers on a plain table.
Is it suitable for children and complete beginners?

Yes, and that is who it is built for. Table hockey takes about four minutes to learn and nobody gains an advantage from being taller, older or fitter, which is why a child regularly beats an adult at it. The short video that comes in the kit teaches two ways to score, and most people can do both within half an hour of opening the box.
